"Geoff was great. In the midst of much chaos, he really kept the evening going in the right direction and helped us stay on schedule. We've had quite a few compliments from our friends and families about the band. Kudos to them for delivering such a great performance." Monica & Griffin - Aug. 30, 2008 @ The Club - Key Cente

Partners in Rhyme
Partners in Rhyme is a contemporary a cappella vocal band that Geoff performed in from 1999 to 2012. The group entertained audiences throughout Northeast Ohio for years. Thousands of people have heard the group in a wide variety of appearances ranging from television, radio and professional sports events to performing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the WMJI-sponsored Moondog Coronation Ball. There, P.I.R. sang for an audience of over 10,000 alongside legendary acts like Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Leslie Gore, Jay and the Americans, The Association, and The Grassroots. P.I.R. has performed at Winterfest in Cleveland singing holiday music for an audience of over 50,000, and has opened for Grammy-Award winning artist Isaac Hayes at Cain Park.
P.I.R. has been seen and heard on many Cleveland area television and radio programs, most notably as regulars on the WMJI Lanigan and Malone morning show. The group has performed the National Anthem for professional sports events including the Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers.
Partners in Rhyme is a vocal group with a unique chemistry that comes from the members knowing each other and singing together since childhood. This is a group with deep roots - and it showed in their fun and casual appearances. The group was officially formed in the early 1990's when Lead Vocalist Derek Rimko, his cousin Tenor Ryan Braford, and Bass Ryan Fischer started entering and winning local singing contests. Soon the group developed a more contemporary sound, which included a more diverse repertoire of rap, country, rock and other genres. They also incorporated vocal percussion and vocal instrumentation elements into their music. They were joined in 1995 by Baritone Brad Anderson. In 1999, the group added Geoffrey Short.
